What is
Just 4 Kids?
Just 4 Kids
is a community outreach program based on situation and
circumstance which works year round to assist the daily
lives of ALL children in hardship situations which
include:
*
illness homelessness
* loss of a parent
* poor family financial situations.
The program
is a free resource for teachers and will provide any child
in a hardship situation with new school supplies, new
clothing, new hygiene items and or whatever is deemed
necessary by the teacher.
Who
Benefits?
Just 4 Kids
serves all children in hardship situations,
county-wide and year-round, by providing them with
tangible items such as NEW clothing, school supplies and
hygiene products as well as items for special events such
as homecoming, prom and graduation.
Each year
over 4,000 Monroe County children are served by the
program. More that 2500 children are served
with grade-appropriate school supplies, new backpacks
filled with grade-appropriate school supplies, new school
clothing and new hygiene items. An additional 650+
children receive gifts and new clothing to help them
celebrate the holidays. Between the “Adopt a
Classroom” program and the Just 4 Kids “Keeping Our
Kids Fit” program, all children's needs ARE met and no
teacher should experience an out-of-pocket expense.
