Angels: Just4Kids
In honor of our fallen soldiers and local officers lost in the line of duty, 100 children in need of aid received shiny new bicycles this past holiday season...In a heartfelt ceremony, representatives from the Armed Services, The US Pentagon and local State and City representatives all took a moment to recognize the lives of he fallen soldierrs and officers while recognizing the various hardship living situations that "our" children endure...Doves were released in memory of each soldier and founders of the project, Paula Ciavolino and Mike Donovan were honored at The US Pentagon at which a monument recognizing their effort was ressurected...Each family of the soldiers received an angel ornament in their son/daughters memory as well as a handwritten thank you card from each child receiving a bike in their honor....This project is an annual Just4Kids event and angel ornaments can be purchased on the ItsJust4Kids website...
