"Keeping Our Kids Fit"
Founded by Paula Ciavolino, in 1992, The "Keeping Our Kids Fit" program has been a community based volunteer effort that provides direct service to over 2000 children enduring hardship situations each year....The children are identified and the individual childs needs are specified...the items are then obtained by ItsJust4Kids and delivered discreetly to the children in need of aid...
No child in need of aid has ever been turned away by ItsJust4Kids....
All children, enduring hardship including, but not limited to, homelessness, loss of a parent, illness, and/or family financial burden are served by ItsJust4Kids....
New clothing, hygiene items, new school supplies are provided to the children in need of aid....On occasion, medical and dental needs are met as well...
Special events such as Prom, Graduation and Homecoming are also provided for as is Holiday....
ItsJust4Kids welcomes partnerships and collaborative efforts which is evident by the rapid growth, and various projects that have stemmed from the agency relationships....
When, the programs founder, Paula Ciavolino, developed and implemented ItsJust4Kids, she was determined to find a formula that would provide direct service tio the children in need...it needed to be a credible verifiable process that was unduplicated and of value....By having the children identified by the teachers and agencies, children without advocated no longer slip through the cracks of the system and the cleints of agencies are coordinate d with the schools thus providing adnministratively responsible oversight to the services and programs of ItsJust4Kids.
